Zoo Expedition Minigame
This is a prototype of the minigame that will be played to get new animals for a zoo management mobile game I am currently developing.
Below are the mechanics of the minigame:
- Before starting an expedition, you will pick the number of darts/crates to bring
- Darts are the number of shots you have to catch animals
- Crates are the number of animals you can bring back to your zoo (the zoo part is not implemented yet)
- Shooting a hideaway will scare nearby animals
- Animals will run toward their next hiding spot when scared
- Some hideaways take multiple hits to break
- Animals hidden behind hideaways that you shoot and break will be captured
- After you run out of darts/hidden animals, the expedition will end
- After the expedition has ended, you can pick which animals to bring to your zoo by clicking/tapping on them
